What could I use to heat up a tent?

i will be going camping in March and I usually don't use heaters but it gets cold. I am bringing my dog with me this time. I need to know if they make a heater for a tent. I've seen those propane heaters but I don't want to use anything like that in a tent. I will have a power hook up. Can anyone give me some hints on how to keep my dog warm. He is small( Boston Terrier) so I will be bringing his cage so he doesn't run off.

I love the whole 2 months up until, the excitement just BUILDS, and it is almost too much! I love looking forward too the big day, counting down the days, and using the advent calendar. The baking of Christmas cookies with my mother and grandma, we do it every year, and it is the best. Putting up all the decorations, the tree (real of course), our billions of red and green outdoor Christmas lights, going to church, as we do all year, but it gets soo much more exciting. Remembering what Christmas is actually about, our Lord Jesus. I also love watching the Christmas shows on television. I love the snow, we had 15 inches fall on Christmas Eve last year, it was absolutely magical And of course the big day when we see all our family, open gifts, and eat!. Help please I dont know what to do?

I have a special needs son who is almost 2 and a 4 yr old. My sons first dr. would never see my son it was like her istant and she always gave the most horrible advice my son is small for his age he looks like a baby he wears 6 and 9 month (16 lbs 27 in) clothes and she would tell me he is too small feed him more and all that did was make him have projectile vomiting and become very fat! So i stopped taking him and the doctor had the nerve to call me and say i don't care about my son and that if I don't take him to see her she is calling CPS! Needless to say I got a new doctor for my sons and I asked this dr. questions and he never answered any of them or referred me to any other doctor that may have answers! I still don't even know what to feed my son he only takes formula because he cant eat not even with baby food in a bottle! I am starting to go a little crazy having no answers and not knowing what to do! I went to WIC to get help with formula since he is over 1 they said Id have to have a doctors prescription and the doctor hasn't given the prescription to me because he doesn't know what my son should be eating! The people at WIC also said my sons Iron was low thats all they checked so who knows he could be not getting enough of any of the vitamins and stuff he needs! I am getting stressed he still sees his specialist doctors but they are just specialist not for general stuff! Should I take him to the ER? Is there actually a doctor out there who cares??? BTW I live in Oak Cliff so hopefully a doc nearby?

Allergic reaction or Lupus?

I put on makeup one afternoon to go take pictures at the walmart. While applying the makeup, I used this new pencil eyeliner (I had used it once before). I accidentally put too much, so I grabbed a cotton ball and doused it with Palmer's Cocoa er Lotion to remove the eye makeup. I rubbed the cotton ball ALL over my eyes and cheeks. I finished putting on makeup, and I left the house. Later that day, I got into an argument with my husband and I cried a little bit. About an hour after I cried, I noticed my face turning really red and spotty, even all the way down to my chin, but mostly around my cheeks and under the eyes. I took a Benadryl because my husband said it looked like an allergic reaction. I got really tired from the Benadryl and went to sleep. I woke up in the morning, my face felt kind of funny - like I couldn't open my eyes all the way. I looked at my face in the mirror, and my eyes (above and below) and cheeks were swollen and puffy. I looked pretty scary. I immediately told my husband and we got in the car and drove to the doctors office. He said it looks like an allergic reaction, and he gave me Prednisone 6 day pack, and told me to take Claritin during the day and Benadryl at night. Well, the Claritin during the day and the Prednisone works great - but Benadryl barely works at night. Around bedtime, my face starts to get a little itchy and I see some redness and swelling. It is now day 3 of the 6 day Prednisone pack and my facial swelling has completely gone down, but around night time I'll begin to see a bit of redness. Sometimes on my left cheek under my eye, and sometimes on my right cheek under my eye. I am worried because I was reading online about Lupus and it presents itself in a rash on the face. I don't have any of the other symptoms of Lupus, but my question is, can Lupus make my face puffy and swollen? To me, I guess it sounds more like an allergic reaction, but my doctor said if the swelling doesn't go down by Monday, that I should come back in because it could be something "different." When he said "different" what does he mean?? Anyone have any ideas? I'm really scared.

Boa feeding question?

Snakes prefer live food as they are attracted by smell and movement. If your mom has to feed it 15 times per year, which is like every 3 weeks, so maybe waite longer until you will be able to do it. You can always buy a snake at any time and it will be your snake not your mom's. I love snakes but my son does not and he would not feed the snake even if I asked him, same way your mom feels. they're attracted to the mint so it's like catnip, which they go crazy for. you could buy them some catnip so they have the mint and might leave your tree alone. buy them other toys too and play with them to keep them distracted, although i doubt it'll work. but if it's really bad, just use a spray bottle or give them a little slap when they're on the tree so they'll stay away next time

Has anyone ever used a .22 pistol in a self defense situation?

I usually carry a 9mm or a .40 on duty. When I go jogging on the back trails I tend to carry my walther p22 .. not so much for defense against people.. but more so against wild animals. We have had a lot of sick animals around the area so I am weary/ the occasional mountain lion. Anyway carry nothing but Aguila Super max.. if you are familiar with it (nearly 1800 fps from a rifle and almost the ft lbs of a 9mm at muzzle). Anyway I was jogging down the trail when a 140 ish pound stray rotty made an advance at me. I had no other choice but to shoot or get ripped apart.. ( I love dogs and all animals and was very upset by the situation) Anyway I fire off 3 rounds while it was in mid-jump and it landed on top of me dead (just like a movie). Thank god for Aguila.. I doubt any standard .22 lr from a p22 would have stopped an animal of this size. One round went through the right lung and out the side. One struck the belly just a ways up from the back legs, and one (probably the one that saved my life) struck him just above the left eye. Even being a trained professional.. I really doubt I could have gotten 3 shots off in about that 1 second time frame with a 9mm or a .40.. Anyone else have any first hand experience with stopping power of a .22 in a similar defensive situation??

Right ear hurts very bad...?

My guess is you probably have an infection especially if you had chills and a fever an the onstart.I used to suffer from chronic ear infections all the time until I grew out of them it sounds like an ear infection and strep throat or at the least an ear infection and sore irritated throat if you look in the back of your throat and see white than you have strep and guaranteed your ear is infected if your having a lot of pain....go see a doctor or go to the er or a fam clinic because it won`t get better you will just end up with a double ear infection or it`ll get so much fluid your ear drum will pop which is excruciatingly painful..see a doc as soon as possible so you can get some meds!

Lately ive been getting really bad tremors and getting worse? Please read?

So for a few months now ive been getting tremors it started out mild nothting really to worry about. I do have high blood pressure i just got on a new blood pressure pill and now my pressure is great i was really stressed out and plus pain to dose cause blood pressure but it was both stress and pain i get really bad migrains and sinuse pain i had 3 surgies on my inside of my nose and i still get sinus pain and bad migrains so i get stressed out about it cause the migrains i get our savere and i have to take darvocet and motrin to stop the headaches or if it's worse i'll take a norco 10/325 with a motrin both work but i don't want to be on pain meds all my life so i got put on a new blood pressure pill for my pressure / migrains & the tremors i have been getting for the last past 3 months now they seem to be getting worse my blood pressure sometime the top number would be really high like around the 160s bottom number would be around the 80s a few weeks ago it was really bad around 175 over 82 if iam correct with the bottom number but iam really sure about the top number 175 so that day at the doctors thats when i was put on a new blood pressure pill and i menthiond to my doctor i would get tremors sometimes just about everyday sometimes bad wons today i was really twitching my blood pressure was great but the tremors and migrains now i have the migraisn and blood pressure under control but iam getting worried about these tremors/twitching i get it in my hands and even in my body and legs our really wobbley going down the steps. Not this reminds me of michael j fox with his parkinson's cause i move like him and can sit still somtimes. So today my mom had to give me two 10mg valium to help me out ause i know there a sedative and is for tremors and know valium helps treat seizures i know all about the drug i used to take it for panic attacks so please dont get mad at me for taking two of my moms valium she gave them to me to help cause i used to take them before now if i never took them before then i would of touched them. Iam sorry about the writing and alittle bit of miss spelled words i was writing this in a hurry cause iam kinda scared and i wanted to know if it's somthing to be worried and concerned about cause i am worried right. If this keeps up in another 2 weeks iam going back to my doctor and getting some tests done I was with my family outside on the 4th of july lighting fireworks and had a great time i got the best fireworks at a warehouse where they were selling fireworks very cheap i bought these festival aka reload shells six one tube and my hands were shacking so bad i could hard light fireworks but i diden't let that get in my way cause i love two spend time with my family and light fireworks. Now iam 20 years old 170lbs 5'11 i take care of myself i lift weights and go for a hour to 2 hour walks and listen to music to keep in sahp cause i used to weigh 205lbs very bad i used to drink so much pop and eat junk now i eat right. Now my dad had high blood pressure when he was 19 years old and the doctor said it's probably hereditary thats why i have it but dose high blood pressure cause savere tremors but i have my blood pressure under control it's great just really twitching scary now iam going to talk to my doctor if i still have this problem now i just started taking this new medication and probably takes a few weeks to a month to fully work in my system it's the 5th day now that ive been on it now. So I went to this dance Saturday with my guy friend. When he asked me I said 'yeah,but only as friend's' But I told my friend I sorta liked him which I do but not enough to go out with him and she told this girl. So when me and him went I kinda liked him more. He kept touching me and hugged me when I left which he never does even though we are friends. But while one of the slow songs were on I went to the bathroom and when I came back he was actually saying 'help' because this insane girl was all over him. I can't believe she did that just because you were gone" But when I left THIS GIRL danced with him!! After she just agreed with me the insane girl shouldn't be dancing with my date. I show up the next day and this same girl started dating him!!! And everyone was like (let's just call me B and call this girl M) so everyone said to him "Ewww,my are you dating M!! You went with B she's so much prettier than her" and all these guys were saying to me "Your date is an idiot he's chose M over you. That's just gross, M's ugly" And may I remind you M is NOT pretty. And should I be mad at M because we were kinda friends and to be honest i thought she was quiet and it's embarring he chose HER over me. And everyone is on my side with this too. How bad is it for a rat to over eat?

So I've been switching my rats diets from a mix of lab blocks (oxbow) and seed mix (Reggie rat) to plain lab blocks (harland teklad). They also get a breakfast and dinner of fresh veggies, fruits meat etc. But what I'm concerned about is the lab blocks. Last night was the first night I filled up their tray with the new blocks and when I woke up this morning I noticed a substantial amount gone. About half the bowl! I looked around to see if they'd horded it anywhere but only found a few stashed away. Now, my two small females are laying around like they just ate a thanksgiving feast, round bellies and all! How bad is this for them? Should I be concerned? Is it normal for rats to do this when their diet is switched? Obviously I'll have to limit their lab blocks from now on until they learn not to be so greedy! It's strange, because I've heard of the exact opposite rats won't eat) happening quite often when switching to lab blocks quite often!

It would be almost 2 years since I had my knee surgery (June 11, 2008 University of Iowa H&C) I got hurt playing rugby and found out I had torn my ACL and LCL in my left knee. I had waited about one year to go back to sports plus I worked for the Dept. of Natural resources doing a lot of laboring and walking. Now my knee has been in alot of pain lately especially if I play any active sport like basketball, baseball, dodgeball, etc. I been trying to go back to my PT exercises from the beggining and thats not going so well. I mainly have a sharpening pain on the right side of my left knee. I have been icing and elevating it alot lately and about to start another laboring job with the nature conservancy. I wonder what else can I do for it thats cheap and inexpensive?

He is tired. Calm down. Us guys always say things like that expecting to only drink a little and be back early but it almost never happens. Sitting around bullshytin and drinking is a good time! HELP!!!! strange IMs on yahoo messenger?!?

Suddenly a bunch of IMs pop up saying words like "hell" and constantly buzzing me. I tried putting it in the ignore list but it doesn't help. For instance, the first time it popped up, it's from "vsb_crazy_chick_1" then next one is "vsb_crazy_chick_2" and so on. It happened twice since yesterday already, and every time it happened, it lasted for about 50 IMS. Anyone knows what's going on here? Is it some kind of virus?? Any help would be appreciated.

Spaghetti sauce too thick - what to do?

Alright… There’s this girl that quite frankly, I believe I love. Can’t stop thinking about her and she is, at this time in my life, one of the few things that can actually make me smile. Its not that I am obsessed or infatuated, it is just more of my incompetence to be able to do what I need to. I am a sopre in high school and she is a junior. At the beginning of the school year, I had known her for a year and I liked her during the previous year but I made no attempt to get closer. This year that has changed and my interest in her has increased greatly as I got to know her better. I am doing everything in my ability to get to the point where I can ask her out. One major point to bring up is that to this date, I have never been in a relationship of any sorts. Period. After about three months of getting closer to her I asked my best friend (he had been friends with her since they were young) out of desperation, to call her up, ask if she thought I liked her and what she thought of me (he pretended he had no idea). She said she thought I did like her and that at that time she only liked me as a friend. Now, a month later, I had been talking to her pretty much every day. Both in person (on the bus everyday) and on aim. She was opening up much more to me and every once in a while she will bring up the fact that she thinks that she is fat. Now, I know that this is a big load of bull so I always just explain to her why she isn't and I just try and comfort her. Now, in a much broader period of time, I realized that I was talking to her a bit too much. Realizing this, I backed off, trying to give her some space. As a result, I think she doesn’t feel as pressured anymore, and as a result, when I do talk with her, the conversations tend to be much more engaging and just better overall. Unfortunately, I have gone back to my old habits of being too caught up in the moment and freaked out to ever talk to her in person. At this time, I haven’t the faintest idea of what she feels for me, and what is going through her head. The time I spend talking with her, even the time I spend with her when I don’t talk is an adrenaline rush like none other. I feel ecstatic. All of my worries and negative emotions flood away from me in an instant. I don’t know…. I don’t want to be an inconvenience I just really need to talk about it. Any responses would be amazing. Ok last week I'm made a game time decision to sit Keller and start Jeremy Shocky mainly because Shockey has a veterin QB Drew Bress throwing to him when Keller has an in experienced Mark Sanchez under center, and it turned out to be the right decision as Shocky scored 2 touchdowns and racked me 15 points when Keller only had nine points I believe. but now Shocky is hurt and although he still has a chance of playing i don't know for sure if he will and I still don't trust Keller with Sanchez as his QB and there up against new england. but I realized today that Todd heap who had a great game last week is free. should I drop Keller and pick Heap up? I agree with your logic but I wouldn't say we are superior in any way. Everyone is still looking out for their personal interests. There are some religious people that are as concerned with this life as the "afterlife". If we were concerned with social fairness, quality of life, and suffering without thinking about personal interests ("this life is probably it") then you could say Atheists and humanists are morally "superior". I sincerely believe everyone should be treated with kindness and respect. I always, at least, treat people politely. I am an extremely empathetic person and seem to be able to feel other people. I can't stand bullies and loudmouthed people. I remember telling my ex-husband that "being louder does not make you right." With that said, I think its very important to listen carefully to what people say and strive to understand it. There is no problem that can't be worked out if you communicate with people. So, be calm and rational and smile, say hello, please, and thank-you. I often perform 'a random act of kindness'; I won over my grumpy neighbor that way. When someone is being mean to me I often kill them with kindness. Drives them crazy, but diffuses the situation. So kindness is what works for me almost every time.

Can 26 year olds have heart attacks or does something else cause similar issues?

Being as I understand the symptoms for heart attacks I continue to worry. I'm male 26 years which means i have a better chance to win the lotto. I used to drink caffeine a lot and smoke but have almost wiped the habits out. A while back someone slipped something in a drink and the results was an anxiety attack with chest pains and all that lasted almost 20 hours I went to the hospital and they said my heart was fine EKG what not just learn to breath right. That was three months ago but lately my chest has been hurting and the pain ranges from like plain old body ache feeling like you've don't to much Weight lifting to a warm numbness and all the way to a stabbing feeling that spreads out into my right lung areas like pin pricks. Its like someone has a hand around my heart and is squeezing it making it hard to breath. I went to the doctor again she said it was anxiety and gave me Med.s for it... they do nothing but make me tired. The problems I been having have been getting Better then worse stc. The other (WED) day i was just hanging out bowling and all of a sudden i got dizzy and when i check my pulse it was upwards of 90. Tonight (SAT) three days later about 2 AM I awoke up not breathing gasping for air and dizzy and my heart was practically beating out of my chest but faded and quickly my whole chest went numb ya no more ache but then i got dizzy again and my heart started beating out of my chest in hyper-mode. I checked my blood pressure to be 165 h 109 d 93 beats. which is the highest ive ever seen period. A shooting pain then numb then pain for about thirty minutes then I got really tired and went to lay back down. Something popped in my chest and now i'm fine. Chest still aches right down the middle but my heart levelling down to about 80 beats 135h105d I hate for it to be the weirdest case of heartburn ever but its getting worse every night and when i try to get up in the morning I've been weaker and weaker to the point that I can't get out of bed. Even walking is getting hard to do without effort and hard breathing. The only history of heart problems my family has is murmurs on my sister and mom but my mom has something she called hernia of her stomach that she says caused her the same problems when she was younger. I doubt it. Need help can't afford an emergency room visit again last time it cost over a thousand dollars and i only have like maybe 400. Ive been through the ringer with many images taken of my neck and upper chest because all the limp nodes are slightly swollen two years now but i don't think that would be related to anything else.
