Friend not wanting to pay up on his 1$ BET!?

A while ago i made a bet on the jets vs steelers game. He wanted to bet one dollar on the game i agreed and i picked the jets. First off hes getting pissed off cause he claims he wanted the jets EVEN THOUGH HE GOT FIRST PICK! Second later when I met him in cl I told him wheres my dollar and he tried to distract me from getting it. Eventually he gave it to me then just ripped it out of my hands. Yet he claimed he would give me it in offseason. He ended up getting a rock to fall on his head (for real) and had to leave right before offseason. Today he asked if i wanted to bet on the jets game. I told him no since he still hasnt still hasnt paid off. Then he says why didnt you say im sorry you got injured? and he said all i care about is the money. what do i do i know he got injured but it dosent mean crap to a promise
