I hate my nationality how can i get over this?

I hate it. I am nothing like people from my country and i hate telling people where i'm from because theyll have a certain idea of me in their head which is true for 99% of my people but not at all for me. I dont want to lie about my nationality but how can i get around this because i hate telling people where i am from.i hate it
