Boa feeding question?

Snakes prefer live food as they are attracted by smell and movement. If your mom has to feed it 15 times per year, which is like every 3 weeks, so maybe waite longer until you will be able to do it. You can always buy a snake at any time and it will be your snake not your mom's. I love snakes but my son does not and he would not feed the snake even if I asked him, same way your mom feels. Enjoy the ball pythons for now.
