Has anybody had there gall bladder out??? An if so what was it like?

i just found out i have to get mine out on friday(11/7). im scared to death too. my doctor said that my tummy will be sore, but more from the cuts, he is doing one in my belly on, one on my right side and one in the middle - up by my diaphragm. i get to go home the same day. he said that i will be able to get around just fine and doing good after a week. so, i hope so!!!! good luck...come hold my hand and i will come hold yours....
