Question on ovulation, please help..?

Because I have EWCM(egg white cervical mucus) for 2-3 days in my mid cycle, when exactly is it, that the egg is actually released, during the EWCM is present, or actually after it's gone? we have two girls, both which were conceived as soon as i seen EWCM we BD(baby danced). Now we wanna try for a boy, and I read better chances are as soon as the egg has been released by the shuttles method i think is what its called, so if thats the case, what time is better for me to BD? any information on this? thanks!
