Does Jonathan Dos Santos really even wanted to be playing w/ the Mexican squad?

Can't we all agree he has pride wearing the Mexican jersey?he was playing and than gets cut and his dad and him agree that he wants out of el tri..it's like if he is busting an Edgar Castillo he leaves a national team for another one.I mean if he didn't want to play with Mexico than why didn't he just said to aguirre that he didn't want to be called up?
